We engaged Scion Consultants for their integration consultancy services following our largest acquisition to date. We were highly satisfied with the level of support we received. We initially engaged Islam and team to work with one of our UK headquartered portfolio companies that was looking to acquire a sizable US-based business that was highly strategic for our portfolio company. We were looking to acquire one of our largest competitors. As this was a carveout from a large firm we realized we could benefit from using an outside integration firm to assist in developing and integrating workstreams. Scion enabled us to develop eight major workstreams with over 300 action items. Additionally, they provided substantial value by helping us put together the work teams for the work items.
